Florida Power & Light, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy and the largest electric utility in Florida, serves approximately 12 million people. FPL generates, transmits, distributes, and sells electricity to residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout most of the state.
As the Senior UX/UI Designer at FPL, I conducted user research, analyzed data, and designed web and mobile processes. I facilitated the organization and communication between our in-house and outsourced design teams, ensuring a consistent designs and workflows.
Government Portal
Government Portal is a system built to generate custom energy reports for specified regions. As the designer behind the Government Portal, I used a mix of project requirements, user data and research to create a two-part portal. Part 1 is the process of creating a new report and part 2 is the report itself and the data displayed.

Business Energy Manager
Imagine owning a business and not understanding how or where your energy is being spent. Business Energy Manager is a project created to do exactly as it sounds - manage your business's energy. During this project, I was responsible for several iterations of data display, dashboard layouts and user journeys. The Business Energy Manager is now used by big box stores and corporations alike.
